Mariah Vlach is a Certified Hypnotherapist through the International Hypnosis Federation, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her MA degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She brings you a robust heart, a non-judgmental presence, and years of experience, education, and training. Mariah is known for the sense of safety and ease she brings her clients, always leading from a space of acceptance. Mariah understands that working with psyche for healing and integration is no small matter, therefore, she carries a tremendous amount of respect for her clients. She offers over 12 years’ experience in the field of mental and physical health and her professional and personal training allows clients the opportunity to relax, let go, and trust the process, knowing they are well supported.
Mariah is an Inner-Peace Seeking Activist. She has traveled the world on her own quest for consciousness, studying within many cultures and traditions of meditation, psychology and the arts of healing and transformation.
Mariah has experience in counseling for substance abuse disorders, where she worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist in a prominent drug and alcohol treatment center located in San Juan Capistrano, CA, specializing in men's and women's support groups that focus on addiction as a spiritual malady. She is also a member of the humanitarian committee with ACEP, the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, and a past board member for the I-5 Freedom Network, a non-profit corporate training platform that specializes in the reduction of human trafficking through Southern California.
Mariah has 8 years' experience and training in Hypnotherapy. She received her certification from educator and author, Mary Lee LaBay, PhD, in 2011 at Bastyr University and graduated from Antioch University Seattle in 2015 with a BA in Liberal Studies with an area of concentration in Spiritual Studies, where she studied and practiced many styles and philosophies of earth-based indigenous healing and wisdom, including her own profound 4-day vision quest in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State.

Her quest led her to the reality television show 'Survivor' where she worked in production on and off for 10 years. While traveling abroad on the show, Mariah had the opportunity to integrate her deep curiosity of the world with her desire to understand and connect humanity, history, healing, culture, media, and the limitations and potentials of the human mind, across the globe.
Here, she received the opportunity to study within the culture and religions of West Africa, shamans of the eastern Brazilian desert, medicine people of the Amazon rain forest, and the Pacific Islanders of Samoa & Fiji.
Upon her return to the United States, Mariah received her yoga teacher training in the Catskills Mountains of New York and pursued a professional education in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Bastyr University, in the Five Elemental Philosophy.
Mariah has received extensive training in intuitive healing. She has been referred to as a personal trainer for the subconscious mind.
Mariah currently lives in her hometown of San Clemente, CA where she enjoys time spent laughing and loving her family and friends, surfing, dancing, music, art, and spending time communing with nature.
Mariah will safely guide you to the places you may be hesitant to go by yourself. Her purpose is a reflection of support, advocacy and care, always leading from the heart.
